Darby Township Board of Zoning Appeals Public Notice January 26, 2026

The Darby Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hear an appeal on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Darby Township Hall, 508 4th Street, Unionville Center.

Ms. Kendra Horn, 14684 Hidden Farm Rd., Plain City OH, is requesting a Zoning Variance. Ms. Horn would like to build a 30 x 24 accessory building and receive a setback variance.

Ms. Horn is requesting a variance to allow construction of a 30 x 24 accessory building which along with an existing building, in total, will bring the square footage over the allotment for the 2.003 acre lot. This percentage exceeds the zoning allotment pursuant to Section 1003(3) of the Darby Township Zoning Resolution.

Ms. Horn is also requesting a variance to allow the new accessory building to have a setback of 62 feet which is less than the requirements pursuant to Section 910(3)(e)(1) of the Darby Township Zoning Resolution.
